About Eric Layman
Eric Layman is an evidential medium, teacher and speaker. He was aware of the spirit world from childhood. In his thirties, what came through became clearer and more specific, and he couldn’t ignore it anymore. In 2012 he began formal training in mediumship.
In 2018 he attended a four-day workshop with Mavis Pittilla, one of the most respected mediums and teachers of her time, and stayed with her for five years. Before she died in 2022, Mavis personally authorized him to teach her work. Today he is one of fourteen Authorized Mavis Pittilla Teachers, certified to teach her Whole Medium Approach, and a Lineage Holder and Founding Tutor of the Mavis Pittilla Legacy Academy.
Eric has given thousands of private sittings and taught more than 300 students. He serves as faculty with The Shift Network’s Evidential Mediumship Academy, and has demonstrated mediumship at the Victory of Light Psychic Expo and in Spiritualist churches across England. He has also been a guest medium at private and fundraising events, including a Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra event at Music Hall and a fundraiser for the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
His work is grounded in evidence: real details that people can check, given with care and free of theatrics.
